About সম্প্রীতি

 সম্প্রীতি is Literary Magazine to encourage everyone to enhance their writing skills, so they share their knowledge and expose their talent. Artwork, prose, poetry, stories, jokes etc are published in this magazine. It began publishing thoughts and writing talents of Bangladeshi expatriates and Bangladeshi residents, back in the mid 90s.

 

সম্প্রীতি was founded by a Bangladeshi expatriate couple (Mr. & Mrs. Choudhury) in the mid 90s, living in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with a mission to unite the Bangladeshi community living there.

The mission of সম্প্রীতি was to unite Bangladeshis for social welfare and strength among communities. Thus, it was called সম্প্রীতি [Harmony/ Fraternity]. The vision was to enhance the Bangla (and English) skills, through freedom to think, write and share. The motto and slogan is "Unite through literature!"

Other community and welfare activities included fundraising for flood victims and holding youth talent functions. With all that, সম্প্রীতি still encourages social and global awareness, along with writing to the সম্প্রীতি literary e-magazine.
